Program Expectations & Competencies
Delegates and Sub-Delegates are selected based on their capacity to mobilize communities and articulate rigorous, evidence-based public health narratives. Core responsibilities include:

Targeted Interventions
Complete one localized project in partnership with BCPH (e.g., executing a regional health campaign, leading an epidemiological survey, or hosting an educational webinar). -
Global Convenings
Engage in quarterly virtual assemblies to facilitate cross-continental coordination, share policy updates, and analyze regional health challenges. -
Strategic Amplification
Actively promote critical initiatives, peer-reviewed journal submissions (BCPH Review), and health equity narratives across digital and institutional networks.

While our primary 2026 World Delegates have been finalized, we are actively seeking highly motivated Sub-Delegates to support the operationalization of these transformative projects. Act as a crucial regional liaison and expand your global health portfolio.

Who Should Apply?
We are especially interested in delegates from the following regions:
- United States (state-level or region-level)

What Do Delegates Do?
Delegates selected for the inaugural 2026-2027 cohort will:
- Serve a one-year term
- Engage in quarterly virtual convenings for global updates, coordination, and networking
- Complete one small project with BCPH, such as a webinar, regional campaign, blog series, community survey).
- Post weekly on social media, amplify BCPH initiatives, and promote signature programs, such as the BCPHR journal submissions; BCPH award programs (40 Under 40 in Public Health Catalyst Awards), and BCPH fellowships (BCPH Research Scholars Program).
How Will Delegates Be Selected?
BCPH is searching for delegates who are:
- Highly motivated, ambitious
- Rising or established leaders in public health and social justice
- Skilled in communication, social media, and outreach
- Strong verbal communicators with a passion for engagement
- Interested in regional, national, and international recognition
What Benefits Do Delegates Receive?
Delegates receive:
