Organizational Genesis

The Boston Congress of Public Health was architected to disrupt traditional, exclusionary academic models. Our foundational mandate is to build an equitable infrastructure that empowers marginalized scholars and frontline health advocates.

The Foundational Impetus

BCPH was established to address a critical system failure within global public health: the profound disconnect between elite academic institutions and the communities experiencing the highest burdens of structural inequity. Our founders recognized that to achieve true health equity, the mechanisms of knowledge production and capital deployment needed to be fundamentally democratized.

Co-CEOs of BCPH

BCPH was officially established in August 2021 by two Co-Chief Executive Officers, both alumni of the Harvard Chan School of Public Health.
